Hope for Hasti is a charity set up by Major Chris Brannigan, whose daughter Hasti suffers from a rare genetic disease, Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS).CdLS presents children with a wide range of difficult physical and behavioural challenges.
Hope for Hasti is funding cutting-edge research to develop a gene therapy for this rare condition which will dramatically improve their quality of life.

Major Brannigan aka the Barefoot soldier completed 700 mile journey for Hope for Hasti.
A determined father has completed a 700 mile mammoth mission across the UK raising £570,000 and awareness for his daughter’s rare disease.
Army major, Chris Brannigan, walked for 35 days from Land’s End to Edinburgh, carrying 25kg, all while barefoot.

We’re proud to announce one of our team, Christian Rolfe, will be running the London Marathon this year in support of Hope for Hasti.

I will be running the London Marathon this year and have chosen to support the ‘Help for Hasti’ charity.

This is my first marathon and I was lucky enough to win a place in the ballot.

On my training runs I have been listening to podcasts and I happened to listen to Ian Wrights ‘Everyday People’ The story of the Barefoot Major and his fight to save his daughter. His story really struck me as a father I want to use my marathon place to help support him, his daughter and their charity.

I would love you to listen to the podcast – https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/chris/id1549385121?i=1000515206509

And I would love it even more if you could sponsor me…
